It’s almost a year and a half since Sunnydale fell into a crater. Now retired from slaying, Buffy’s been voluntold to go to Wesley Wyndham-Price’s memorial service, where she finds a few familiar enemies. Everything’s so surreal anyway, Buffy decides she might as well just give into it and see if lunch with Drusilla and Harmony might be one of the better things she does that year. It’s a pretty low bar, after all. The day keeps getting weirder, but the bar for the year might just be unsurpassable by the end of it.

The comics are ignored completely and both TV series as taken as cannon. This is a not a romantic reunion fic, although there are reunions aplenty, and parts of it could be described as romantic. Spike does not speak in this story, although others speak about him quite a bit.

All song and chapter titles are courtesy of X-Ray Spex, and all the characters and settings you've heard of before are courtesy of Mutant Enemy et al. Dylan Thomas' Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night is partially quoted. The story is entirely my own, although the original plot bunny was an EF challenge by knightowl. Begins during Afterlife and continues through Once More With Feeling. Buffy is feeling very alone and lonely and realizes the only comfort she really wants is from a certain bleach-blond menace...

Buffy snoops around Spike's crypt and finds something interesting. Most of the events of the story take place in London, 1880, a few days before William attends Cecily's party which I have set a Christmas time.

Another Wulfie Challenge Response! #62 this time. Buffy's invisible, drunk and horny and poor defenceless Spike is in his crypt and unaware of his guest.

After sharing her night of passion with Angel, Buffy is thrown into a situation she never thought possible beyond her wildest dreams. Forced to learn to live with the changes within herself, she finds comfort and understanding in someone she never had thought of as anything but a monster.

A/N: I don’t really care for dark, depressing stories. Dark!fic just isn’t my thing. Too damn bad the muse wouldn’t listen, and despite my endless pleading, he demanded this one be written in response to the “Third Slayer” challenge posted for round nine of Fang Fetish Awards. I will warn you up front that this is not a fluffy, happily-ever-after story. And it takes place in an alternate reality wherein Angelus has never had a soul. Spike never came to Sunnydale, never got caught and chipped by the Initiative, and never fell in love with Buffy. He is still evil and soulless with no intentions towards the side of good.

Summary: Written as a birthday pressie for my delightful, beta-shaped Goddess, Oracleholly! Part of the Moving Backwards-verse, but can be read as a standalone. Set sometime after Spike and Buffy's initial meeting. During a routine patrol, the Slayer happens upon a scene that leaves her breathless. So caught up in things that she knows she should not be witnessing, Buffy doesn't notice the creature behind her. What results will change the Slayer's life forever.

Rated NC-17 for Smut, smut, a tiny bit of non-plot, and oh, yeah, more smut! Contains: Nudity, some semi-harsh language, and, you guessed it, smut! (And no little amount of voyeurism.)

WARNING: Buffy is sixteen in this. Depending on your views of what constitutes 'underage', you may or may not wish to continue. I'm just covering my bases here and going with a general warning. Also, because of her age, there is nothing too graphic.
