Set sometime mid-season 6 Buffy arrives at Spike's crypt for a round of special rough and tumble, but things don't quite proceed as she thought they would. ~*~ Judges Choice at Round 5 of the Fang Fetish Awards !! ♥ ~*~

I asked my beta what sort of fic she might like for her birthday. Here's what she asked for...

" So, if you feel inspired, what appeals to me is either Spike or Wes. If you pick Spike and want him to be involved with someone, it should be Buffy; if you pick Wes, I don't have any strong feelings about it. I'm open as to whether it's BtVS or AtS, and when, but some of the things I enjoy are Spike irritating Angel (without too much Angel bashing), Spike and Joyce friendship, Wes running Angel Investigations or his own business, Wes or Giles succeeding where the Council fails, and kittens. It could be part of your current storyline, if you'd like. Mood: funny and/or action. Must have a happy ending."

I can't say I managed to cover all the bases but I had a decent try.

Set after the end of Angels and Demons

Sometimes a visit from on old friend really isn't a good thing! Giles manages to lose something and it is upto Buffy and Spike to chase across the world after it. Their journey dicated by the flip of a coin which under the control of chaos magicks.

A crossover with LoTR set a few months after The Gift. Spike jumped into the portal rather than Buffy and is transported to Middle-Earth where he acclimates to a new life during the Battle of the Five Armies and afterward. Back home, Buffy and the others mount a rescue mission for Spike but end up sending themselves to a strange new world with a familiar face . B/S, W/T, A/X, G/Other, Spike/Dawn friendship. Rated R for language, violence and sexual situations. A response to an intriguing challenge posted at the Bloodshedverse but slightly tweaked to fit my own wishes. For those faithful fans that have contacted me wondering… I promise that I’m still working on both The Kindred Series and The Path Less Traveled, but I just couldn’t get this one out of my head until I put it down in writing. Requirements for the challenge posted separately at the beginning of this fic. Enjoy!

After one of their usual violent sexual encounters, Buffy talks Spike into sharing a bit of his past.

Season Six and Buffy wants time to think about her relationship with Spike. She is given more than she wanted as she is called back to Tudor England by a young Watcher in need of a Slayer.

What would happen if Buffy finally opened her eyes and realized that everything she has dreamed of and hoped for was right in front of her? An epic post-Wrecked story of love, romance, action, with a hefty pinch of magic, death, betrayal of old friendships and loss. From Sunnyhell to London, then onto Europe for a surprising confrontation in the romantic city of Venice.
