Goes off-canon after Destiny. Spike goes off to find Buffy after fighting with Angel, but finds nothing but misery. Starts off very dark, heavy on the angst. There may be light for our heroes in the end, but they have miles to go before they can sleep...

Post NFA. Inspired by Dollhouse episode Briar Rose (or for those who don't watch, it's based on Sleeping Beauty). One shot. I posted this when I first wrote it on Spuffy Realm and, after joining BSV, I thought I'd post it here too.

Another Schmoop fic. The prompt was "pretending to be a couple". Spike and Buffy turn out to be pretty good pretenders. :)

She could still remember the lighthearted feeling she had had whilst being invisible. She had felt free, happy – and almost wild. It had felt good. And it had reminded her that, really, she was in control of her own happiness. AU Season 6. One-shot. After her brief spell of invisibility, Buffy is desperate not to let herself get trapped in a spiral of misery once again. Add a drop of alcohol to the mix and who knows what might happen.

Sideways'verse. One year after the end of Sideways, Buffy hits her head and loses her memory. And she can't make sense out of her life at all. Also, she's a bit mystified about her relationship with Spike.

Takes place between Buffy Season Eight #36 and #37. (spoilers for the comics ahead! Read at your own risk!) How did Buffy end up in Spike's shower, anyway? PG, people. Get your minds out of the gutter. :D

Written for Seasonal Spuffy. Spike kisses Buffy at the end of Out of My Mind and wakes up panting and in horror at the revelation that follows…but not in this reality, when it wasn’t a dream at all. This is season five as it could have been, as Buffy struggles with her attraction to Spike and the feelings that inevitably follow.

Once in a galaxy, far, far...oh, that’s been done. Right then. Humankind has been at war with the Aurelians for decades. When the two sides finally reach the point where negotiation is better than annihilation, a truce is called and a treaty negotiated on the planet currently under dispute. The peace treaty is cemented symbolically by the joining in marriage of the two youngest soldiers present, thereby throwing Buffy and Spike into a relationship that they really, really, don’t want. Although not a traditional Vampire versus Slayer scenario, it is close enough to be familiar.

Buffy has discovered that The Hellgod Glorificus captured and tortured Spike in an attempt to make him tell her where the key was. This is the “fang fic” that tried to barge its way into “A New Day”. I've reworked all chaps.

This story goes AU during the episode, Entropy. After witnessing a single kiss shared between Anya and Spike, Buffy is confronted with her true feelings for Spike. She's terrified that it might be too late to repair the damage she's done, but she can only hang on to the hope that Spike will be able to forgive her for all the heartache she's caused him.
