Summary: Post-NFA Buffy and Spike travel back to early season 5 to help defeat she-who-must-be-called-all-sorts-of-glorious-names.Two Buffys and two Spikes - oh, the possibilities. ;)

Now that Spike has returned from the dead, wasn’t this resurrected with him? Or was this left behind in Sunnydale?
Starts after the final episode of Angel, assuming no comic continuation. Contains many missing scenes from season 7. Complete at twelve chapters; 29,000 words.

A different ending to "Crush." Buffy somehow gets a glimpse of the future after Spike admits to being in love with her. How will this change her opinion of him?

The summer after "The Gift" Spike discovers he has been missing more than just Buffy when a part of his past is returned to him. A/N: The strike mentioned and the loss of life given are not based on any actual event, but rather on the general climate of the times. The story title is from the Bible, Matthew 5:4 "Blessed be they that mourn for they shall be comforted."
