After winning the battle against the First and his army, they had the luxury to fantasize about a normal life, at least for a short while. But now, old and new enemies have allied to squash that dream, Hell bent on tipping the scale back on the side of evil. There is no such a thing as a break for the Slayer, and the Scoobies should have known better. There is one thing the bad guys hadn't counted on though: the love of a vampire for his Slayer.

Spike, a curse, a Slayer and a Hellmouth – what more could you ask for? Set in Season One and spinning off canon pretty much from the first word – Spike ends up in Sunnyhell alone and subject to the whims of The Powers – what can a vamp do? How will he fit in? Will he fit in? Does he want to? What will Angel’s reaction be to the presence of his Grandchilde let alone Buffy’s reaction to the peroxide pest?

 A future fic (no comics references to speak of) that takes place in an anonymous American city that contains a minor hellmouth and the accompanying assortment of vampires and demons. The Council has provided a fair-sized squad of slayers to live there and keep things under control. Buffy is visiting to see if she can help out with a problem that has arisen. While Buffy is clueless for a while, I suspect readers will figure things out pretty quickly. :)

After Buffy’s death, Spike wants nothing more than to fall to dust. There’s only one problem, he and every other member of the undead seem to have become even more indestructible than usual. Forced to remain in a world he would happily trade for Hell, Spike must deal with his grief, the suspension of previously inviolable mystical laws, and a broken promise to a lady. A sequel to a short (6200+) off-canon Season Four fic – Even Demons Need Friends, but I don’t think you need to have read that story (although it’s kinda fun...). All you need to know is that this is a non-canon Season 5 in which Glory is there searching for her Key, Joyce is sick, Spike is unchipped and living in another city. At the end of the previous story, he’d asked Buffy to call him if she needed help.
They don’t have a relationship yet; they weren’t even much more than canon Season Four semi-enemies, with an unrecognized and unacknowledged sexual attraction, when Ethan’s spell to turn Giles into a Fyral demon wrought some important changes in a very short period of time. But not changes sufficient to make it likely that a slayer, with a human boyfriend and a firm belief in what’s right and acceptable, and an old vampire, who has just regained his ability to hunt and feed, are likely to see any kind of a future for them. In spite of some surprising revelations about how they may feel about each other.
You can assume that the rest of Season Four and some of Season Five have proceeded pretty much as in canon, but without Spike’s presence. That absence, and the reason for it, has changed things enough that I think it’s fair to call this an AU Season Five. Some things will be familiar, some things obviously will not, so don’t go looking for an identical timeline or identical events.

This is the third part of the trilogy started in To Kill the Girl and continued in You Have to Love Her. Spike and Buffy are in an established loving relationship now, but when Faith wakes up, it means big trouble for Buffy. And that's only the half of it.

He stays, soon realising that everything has changed in his absence... not least the Slayer who is later brought back to life. The sequel to the Weight of Love. Buffy and Spike work together at Wolfram and Hart, but something out of their control threatens to destroy the life they worked so hard to build.

Christmas and things are not going too well in Sunnydale. Someone is stealing children.

Giles discovers a prophecy on how to stop Angelus from opening Acathla. In order to fulfill it, he must convince Buffy and Spike to work together …intimately! **Response To Bloodshedverse Challene #64**

This fic will carry an overall rating of NC17, though each chapter will be rated according to individual content. Post Chosen and Destiny Spike leaves Los Angeles and goes in search of his girls in Rome only to discover that things are different and more complicated than he could ever have imagined. Once again, we are all reminded that magick has consequences.

Post-series, but only just. The Hellmouth is closed, and Spike is gone.  A grieving Buffy does her best to cope, until she receives a call from one of Angel's people that turns her world upside down.

From a bunny sparked by discussion of several small bits during Pangs and Something Blue that allow room for a softer, less judgmental Buffy and a Spike who is more amenable to Giles' suggestion that he may have been chipped for a reason.
