Set in season four just after Giles has recovered from being turned into a Fyarl demon by Ethan Rayne. Spike has now moved into his crypt and happens upon Buffy fighting a strange looking demon. He is enjoying the brawl when the demon sends out a weird beam of light, which hits both Spike and Giles with quite dramatic consequences. Following Fool for Love. Buffy is sitting on the porch steps, crying about Joyce’s illness when Spike arrives to kill her. But like lots of his plans, things don’t go quite as he’d hoped. But then things are going to change for everyone very soon.

Buffy gets more than transformed by the costume in S2's Halloween and discovers the reason she couldn't ever beat Spike.

Spike, Angel, Gunn, and Illyria are battling the hordes of demons and one big stinking dragon. When all looks lost, what will they do to save the world? **Author's note** Italics=internal monologue. Sequel to Replay. I wasn't sure if I should put this in post- ATS or season 7. It could go either place since it is a time travel fic. It has been months and Spike still hasn’t come home from his journey to Africa. Buffy goes in search of him, not only because of her aching heart but also because he is vital against the battle with the First. When she finds him, will he be the Spike she knew?

Willow casts her "Will Be Done" spell during "Something Blue", but it has some dire consequences. The spell isn't reversed, and Willow goes somewhere she can't return from.

Buffy needs Spike in her life, but what would happen if he rejected her and she thought he was feeding on humans again?
