I was watching season 2 yesterday and I found myself torn between whom I wanted Willow with. Xander or Oz? What do you all think?

I think Oz is way better for Willow than Xander. Oz is mature and calm and helps to ease Willow's insecurity. Xander is as if more insecure than Willow, he needs someone who's confident enough to appreciate him the way he needs. However, Xander always ends up with women who like to put him down instead, or in Anya's case, more insecure than him and need him to be confident while he's not.

Yeah, because someone who is completely blind to her advances until the second she puts on a dress that makes it impossile to miss that she does, in fact, have boobs, and then starts fooling around with her despite the fact that both her and him are in relationships - is a real winner. Sorry, but Oz is a clear win.

Well, I think that Tara was beyond a shadow of a doubt the love of Willow's life.  But if Willow had to be with a guy, Oz is definitely better than Xander.  He wanted nothing to do with Willow until she was taken by someone else.  I've been watching Season 1 this week, and I noticed something that I hadn't before.  In "The Pack," Xander tells Buffy that Willow needs to stop kidding herself when she thinks that Xander might want to be with her.  Oz always noticed Willow, even when he didn't know who she was, such as when she crosses the street in front of his van in the Halloween episode or when he notices her dressed in the Eskimo costume in "Inca Mummy Girl."

As for Kendedy: I hate her.  And I'll stop now before I get on a serious rant.

Actually, in the first ep of season two, Xander almost kissed her before that vamp attacked and ruined the moment.

But out of Oz and Xander? Oz, definitley. He's so mature, clever, and a good [male] balance for Will.

Upon further contemplation... I think I'm going to have to go with Xander, but only because Oz still had some hurdles to get over (with the whole wolf thing) that Willow could never understand.  And yes, Xander has many emotional problems (which is why he left Anya at the alter), but Willow has known him since point one, and she is probably the only one really capable of helping Xander through it.  And Xander would never leave her, or hurt her.  If it had been Xander, I don't think Willow would have... I don't want to say turn gay, but I don't think she would have let her friendship with Tara evolve so much (not saying that it's a bad thing), because Xander would have been her anchor, emotionally and relationship wise.  She never even would have entertained the idea- it would have been "oh, Tara's a nice girl.  Maybe she can hang with us?" and then Xander probably would have brought up a threesome, causing Willow to wrinkle her nose and hit him, and that would be the end of it.  At least, that's how it'd play out in my mind.

Hands down Oz. And out of all the relationships Willow has had Kennedy is the only one that should have been dragged through the streets, tared and feathered, and flogged and not in the fun way either. God, what the hell was she thinking?

Don't pelt me with anything, but...Xander. Just loved watching it play out. I know it was mean - normally hate anyone two-timing on principle - but, I guess because of the history, I liked it. Still think it should have ended diferently, with Willow realising what she was doing, and breaking up with both of them, and then Xander falling madly for her and doing something romantic. Always found the Oz thing kinda dull, and too sweet.

Oz. So incredibly Oz. I love Oz... I want him to be *my* boyfriend (but I also want to keep Spike as my pet). 

I am still torn over the Oz/Tara thing. I adore Tara, and I think she and Willow were a wonderful couple, but I love Oz, too. I just want them to be a threesome so I don't have to choose, lol (which I probably shouldn't say, because that kind of thing gets me roped into writing fics...).

And Kennedy can die. Preferably painfully.

I've seen Willow/Tara/Oz as a side pairing before. (also seen it with Xander, which just seemed weird.)

I will always choose Tara for Buffy, but if that's not an option then Oz. And Xander over Kennedy...hell, anyone over Kennedy, I just could not stomach that character!
