Terrific chapter - I love the simple yet devasting three words from Spike.
It's been a while since I read an early Evil Spike - think your treatment is very good - no trying to sugar coat the Spike from this era that has his William still there but so far overruled by the vamp demon.
Buffy and all the scars make a great metaphor for her emotional state after Angel/Angelus and how her life as the Slayer impacted so much on her normal young teen life.
Enjoying both your long stories very much - so glad that you have decided to continue working with the Buffyverse characters. So many writers just leave of their work.
Thanks for taking up your creative efforts on Buffy and Spike again.

i love her reaction...not so much the hitting spike part...but so much more realistic than if she had gone off on him and all..can't wait to see how it ends :)

Well Giles and Xander's response was not unexpected.
Spike and Buffy's confrontation was so emotion-charged. Spike coming clean was the right thing to do and, as expected, it has hurt them both... looking forward to the next chap to see how (or if) they can get past it.
I must say I will be sad to see this story end... I have really enjoyed it.

Oh, dear. Her secret world ain't so secret anymore and the foundation is crumbling - to dust? I can't believe that the next chappie will be the last and am fearful for them both. Great story and will be very sorry to see it end. xxx

please let this have a spuffy ending, make him change or her not care or something but they need each other. i hate the rest of the scoobie anyway, well except tara, dawn and sometimes willow.

Thanks for the great update. Spike had it right Buffy's friends do have a habit of ambushing her and making her feel like shit. I'm glad that Spike finally told Buffy the truth about the killing. I am really looking forward to how this ends.

Ohhhh that chapter was intense! I wasn't shocked to see Giles and Xander attacked Spike, but to have Buffy slap him... I could see the pain that caused him cause your writing was so well done!! I loved this chapter and will be sad to see the story end, but you are doing an excellent job with it!!

I am glad that he finally came clean, but poor Buffy. She will feel so betrayed. Maybe they can tell everyone to sod off and run off together. LOL! Fantasies are a wonderful thing, aren't they?
