RESPONSE TO CHALLENGE #157 AU: Breaks from canon after Season Four...Five years after the Initiative disaster, the world is a very different place, where society in general knows about demons and vampires, and have found ways to dominate them. A depressed and distraught Buffy gets herself into more trouble than she can handle, which works out just fine for Angelus. The challenge is whether Angelus can successfully manipulate people and events in order to get what he wants. But just what is Angelus striving for, and where do Buffy, Spike and Drusilla fit in? Picks up mid-season two sometime after “I Only Have Eyes for You.” Answer to a Bloodverse challenge, which wanted Buffy/Spike/Angelus. After a long torturous route, will eventually turn Spuffy. Response to Shan's challenge 285, wherein Joyce survives but other major S5 events occur. Buffy is ripped from heaven, etc, but will Joyce's presence ease the Slayer's burden? Divergence from canon will be light at first. Some dialog in early chapters will be familiar. Characters not mine, etc. Eventual NC-17 (if my courage holds out), Eventual Character Death(s).

Ten years have passed since Sunnydale fell. And for ten years, Buffy believed Spike to be dead and burried with it. Now that a new apocalypse comes a-knocking, she has to rely on him for help. But something just isn’t right with the vampire. Will she be able to figure out what it is before it is too late?

What happens when a blue Slayer meets an unique vampire? What happens when said vampire blows The Slayer off her feet. Throw her friends, watcher and a brooding stalker into the mix and you get this. (I can't write evil Spike, so this is less evil, kinda neutral Spike)

The requested sequel to ZoeGrace's wonderful little "Boy Smell Nice" - begins with the last line from her fic. Not beta'd, so let me know what I screwed up. ETA - Always_jbj has now read it and my screw-ups have been fixed. lol

More ETA: It has been brought to my attention that it's been a long time since Zoe's story was available on the BSV (or anywhere else) and that a quick summary of it might be helpful to readers. So, here's all you need to know about that:
Spike has stumbled across Buffy while she is under the influence of the magic beer that created Cave Buffy.  He becomes distracted from killing her when Cave Buffy decides that he smells good.   During the course of the following activities, he bites her and tries to claim her.  But all in all, it’s a fun evening for them.  We begin with the very last line of Zoe’s story…  

A sequel to "The Way a Vamp Loves His Car", this one is much more AU than that little BTL fic. It's a less angsty season VI, with a more understanding Buffy.
