Written for Liliaeth's challenge, number 29, on the spuffy_haven lj community. post-NFA, Buffy and Spike have settled into a comfortable cohabitation. However, when they get tossed back through time into the New York of ’77, they are confronted with the reality of Spike’s uncomfortable past.

Takes place after "Shadow." Spike sneaks into Buffy's house to go through her underwear drawer, but comes across something that he was never expecting.

Post Intervention. After surviving torture at the hands of Glory, a weakened Spike is poisoned in a demon attack. The only cure is the blood of the Slayer, leaving Buffy faced with a difficult decision: Is Spike just a vampire, or is he the man who protected her family out of love?

Spike is still tied up in Giles' tub, and is innocently watching "Passions," when Buffy and an unplanned vengeance wish send them into Harmony.

I was chatting with Always_jbj, whose muse seems to be in the same union as mine, as they've both been on strike for some time. In an attempt to scare up some fic, no matter how bad, we did a mutual drabble prompt challenge. She gave me s2 Spike and "hunting." This is what happened.

Set during Something Blue, Spike discovers there is more than one way to get Buffy-taste in his mouth.
